Some of the most prestigious magic leaders have received the Merlin Award, including the founder and president of the Magic Castle, Milt Larsen, the longest-serving president of the Magic Circle, David Berglas, the longest-serving dean of the Society of American Magicians, George Schindler,  President of The International Brotherhood of Magicians, Ken Klosterman, publisher and owner of Magic Magazine and Magic Live!, Stan Allen, co-founder of Vanishing Inc. Magic & co-owner of Magifest, Joshua Jay, and producer of the "World's Greatest Magic" television shows or NBC network, Gary Ouellet.

 

Some of the greatest magic teachers have received the Merlin Award, including Max Maven, Eugene Burger, Juan Tamariz, Harry Lorayne, Rene Lavand, Johnny Thompson, and Jeff McBride.

 

Some of the world's greatest illusion designers and builders have received The Merlin Award, including David Mendoza, Paul Osborne, Don Wayne, and Mike Michaels.
